With my boycott of pro sports continuing, I’m filling in some of the time by listening to podcasts.

One of my favorites is “This American Life.” It’s interesting, quirky, funny, and heart-breaking at different times. You never know what you’re going to get when you start listening to one of their podcasts.

On Memorial Day, I listened to their most recent one, called “The Perils of Intimacy.” Wow. It covers quite a few stories about intimacy in a very interesting manner. Everyone seeks intimacy. Yet, is it ever truly possible? Can you really know another person? Can you really want them to know all of you?
