Twitter is like a digital Id. You get everything, unfiltered and all the time: the pedantic, zany, funny, and reprehensible.

I believe my great-grandmother, grandmother, two great-aunts, and grandfather were 5 of those people, as they fled from occupied Holland through Belgium, France, Spain, and ultimately Portugal to take a boat to Surinam.
