It sounds crazy, and it probably is. But, I decided to fish today, even with the heavy rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

I figured that not many people would be out today, and so, I would face less competition. I also have a new set-up that I wanted to try out.

In the end, what was supposed to be a few hours of fishing became eight. The action was that good.

During the drive home, I was cold and hungry, as I had not packed a lunch. I had to make it back to town by 4 pm for a work-related errand and gunned it, having just 10 minutes to spare. But, it was all worth it. A great time to be outside.
