There are a lot of cool start-ups and cool stories about them. But, the one about fundraise.com is pretty awesome.
I met up recently with my friend there, Kerryn Gerety (that’s she, with a foul ball at Fenway Park). She told me about their national bus tour, during which a good chunk of the management team visited 30 cities in 33 days. Seriously.
It sounded like both a fun and challenging journey. Living with each other in tight quarters. Having little personal time and space. But, connecting at a much deeper level and traveling around the country to get the word out about their company.
