I was up early today. Went outside to check on the lawn. Here is what I saw.

It is an unfiltered photo. In a few minutes, the light’s colors changed, and everything looked very different. Not worse, just different. So, that photo captured something ephemeral. I’m glad I was there to witness that moment in time.

Moreover, there were birds everywhere, chirping and calling. Rabbits were here and there, nibbling on tender plants.

Very calming.

I had been inside, working on the computer. If I had not gone out, I would have been oblivious to it all.

July 4th fireworks are great. But, the morning nature show at dawn is something else.
