That summer, I was in high school. I was taking summer classes in Cambridge, MA. I was away from home for three months.  It was a blast.

It also was a summer of many firsts. Away from home, it was a great experience to be independent. Taking classes, working on the student newspaper, and meeting people from around the nation.

On one particular July morning, I remember sleeping in and awaking to the sounds of U2 playing down the hall from my dorm room. I arose and went to the TV. U2 was on for the Live Aid concerts. It was an incredible performance by the band.

Tonight, I found a clip of what I watched and listened to.  It’s pretty amazing to see this video of U2.
