I’m excited to announce that we’ve made our first family investment from our angel program, which is in LUMO.com.

Founder Brian Murrihy has a great background and vision to propel innovation in a heretofore sleepy area, the pets accessories space. He has designed a new grooming brush.

Mrs. T. and I really like Brian’s talents and humility, and we were very touched by the amount of personal sacrifice that he and his family have had to make to pursue this business. With a background in art, Mrs. T. really liked what Brian has done.

Personally, I was blown away by the quality of his investment materials (web page here; much of it is password-protected, but you get a feel for his ability to organize and design) that is probably the best I’ve ever seen.
