Well, our long weekend is over, and it’s time for some emails and work. Also, the ol’ blog felt like it was in need of a refresh.

So, this morning, I downloaded a free WordPress theme, clicked a few boxes, picked some new widgets, created a free logo, and let it rip.

I still cannot figure out why my sidebar is at the bottom of the site and the online fixes I’ve found haven’t helped. So, I’m waiting for customer support and will let it go at that.

I find that I really enjoy working with hands, whether it is making fly-fishing flies or tweaking my blog and our web site. My job as a VC is all about giving advice, listening and trying to influence an entrepreneur. It’s enjoyable, sometimes stressful, but a very different world from actually making something.

A good change of pace.
