We’re happy to announce that our family angel program (back 80+ entrepreneurs over eight years and donate all gains to charity; details here) has invested in Hyka Therapeutics. It is our 23rd investment so far (portfolio here).

The company builds infrastructure to make innovative mental health treatments available to all people.  There’s a tremendous amount of new treatments coming online, but very few resources seem to be able to direct the right patients to the right treatments. We think Hyka plays a critical role in that problem space.

One of my former students, Chris Leiter, introduced us to CEO Jero Beccar. We really like Hyka’s space. But, frankly, we just loved Jero’s thoughtfulness, integrity, and transparency.
