Income by Myers-Briggs Type

March 24, 2015March 24, 2015 Jo Tango

For fun, I periodically Google my Myers-Briggs type. Yes, I need a life. I’m a big fan of the test, as it helps name people’s style preferences, and I’ve found it to be pretty accurate both in work and home settings (all of my blog posts on Myers-Briggs here). So, I found this article very interesting.

Cloze Is a ‘Must Have’ for Me

March 18, 2015March 19, 2015 Jo Tango

We are founding investors in Cloze. But, I’m writing this because Cloze is an app I use every day, multiple times a day. I can access it on my laptop or my mobile devices. A game-changer for me. Along with email, calendar and weather, Cloze has become a “must have” in my life. I think

Friday #FlyFishing Video & Drones

January 16, 2015January 16, 2015 Jo Tango

I’m a very happy Aereo subscriber. So, I’m incredibly bummed that Aereo lost its Supreme Court case and has now stopped its service. I’ve interacted with CEO Chet Kanojia a few times and have always found him to be incredibly thoughtful and driven. When you read about his life story, you cannot help but feel inspired.

Our Investment in Triblio

June 6, 2014November 28, 2024 Jo Tango

We’ve made seven investments out of our 2nd fund. We usually keep them under the radar screen until they’re further along or have product release close-at-hand. One in the latter camp is Triblio, which today announced a $3.4MM financing from Kepha, Longworth, and the management team. Here is a good article from Anthony Ha at TechCrunch. A

Nest and Innovation Rates

January 14, 2014January 14, 2014 Jo Tango

Honestly, I was pretty bummed out when I read that Google is buying Nest. I’m an early adopter of their smart thermostats and am a big fan. Now, I’m not criticizing shareholders for accepting a $3 billion offer. Nor am I questioning why founders would want to sell out. Nor do I think that Google
